I worked as an Outsource Artist, my responsibilities were broad and involved:
- Providing feedback on outsourced assets, maintaining art direction and working with environment artists to shape asset direction.
- Processing of photogrammetry data & creation of real-time assets from these data-sets
- Creation of props for various in-development titles, working closely with environment artists
I worked on a variety of projects that included:
- Processing photogrammetry and laser scan data, especially for real time use on Sketchfab
- Creation of real-time reconstruction of Llwyn Celyn medieval hall house in UE4
- Cleaning and presentation of laser scan data for visualisations
- 3D visualisations
I completed a one year traineeship at Historic Environment Scotland with their Digital Innovation and Documentation teams. I was involved in projects such as:
- Photogrammetry capture of various historic sites and monuments, with photogrammetry and laser scanning
- Reconstruction of Arbroath abbey in UE4 and outputs for the visitor centre
- Optimisation of laserscan/photogrammetry data for Sketchfab and UE4
